Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that schedules change. If you’re unable to make your appointment, please reschedule or cancel via the booking confirmation page. If your appointment is within 24 hours, you incur a $50 fee for canceling or rescheduling. You can also pay this fee with another appointment booked within 7 days.

Yes, there are two types of cancellation fees, depending on the situation: 

MechanicOnWay will charge a minimum 1-hour labor charge if:

  • You declined service after our technicians started working on it.
  • The problem was solved and can no longer be found.
  • You requested that we install the parts provided by you.
  • Your vehicle is ineligible for service, and you booked it anyway, including:
    • Damaged and require a body shop to repair
    • Disassembled by you or another shop
    • Heavily modified from the factory
    • 1995 model year or older
    • Failed an emissions test or need an emissions test.

We fully appreciate your valuable time and do our best to keep appointments on schedule. In rare instances, a technician may not be able to make your appointment because of circumstances beyond their control. When this occurs, one of our service advisors will reach out immediately to let you know about the delay and provide options for rescheduling—which we hope you’ll agree makes up for any inconvenience caused by these situations!

You will not be charged a cancellation fee if MechanicOnWay needs to reschedule your appointment.
